Here We Go Again

Late yesterday the insurance company approved the cost of the SCT, close to one half of one million dollars. Wow. Today I went in for the scheduled monthly blood test. I was also able to get in to see Dr. Khouri, the SCT doctor. Net result? We have a donor, blood tests are good, insurance is on board and my health is good. Dr. Khouri said we are ready to go. Tentative plans are that I will go through all the preliminary tests again about the middle of Feb. and by the end of the month to the first week of Mar.      I will be admitted and have the transplant somewhere around the 7th to the 12th of Mar. We've been at that edge before and here we go again. Sometimes I still want to reach for the frame.
